The Bible tells us that whosoever believes in Jesus will be saved. Are you a “whosoever”? That means that God’s plan of salvation is for you! If you have always gone to church or if you’ve never been to church, if you are a child or elderly, if you’re a good or wicked person, rich, poor or middle class, God’s plan of redemption is for YOU. You can have peace with God, and you can know that you will be received into heaven by God joyfully when you die. You can be 100% certain.
ADMIT you’ve sinned, and turn to God: The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.” (Romans 3:23)
BELIEVE that Jesus is God’s Son, that He died for your punishment, and then rose from the dead: The Bible says “God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
CONFESS that Jesus is Lord and you’re going to follow Him the rest of your life: the Bible says “if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Now pray (prayer is just talking to God), and tell him from your heart about your decision. And when you’ve prayed and followed these ABC steps to faith in Jesus Christ – WELCOME!!! to the family of God. The Bible says “those who did welcome him, those who believed in his name, he authorized to become God’s children” (John 1:12) As God’s children, think of all the rights and benefits to which YOU now have access!
