Our founder, Ricky, was born on a circus, became a hippie in the 1960’s. Due to all the drugs and party life he ended up a demon-possessed young man, totally whacked out. By the age of 19 he had been shot 3 times and inflicted injury upon many others. Just before his 20th birthday he was shot in the head by police! Ricky was then sent off to prison for 30 years.
He has had anything but a dull life! From the effects of being shot in the head, he was paralyzed, and had severe brain damage, grand-mal epilepsy, loss of motor skills and many more afflictions. During his time in prison, Ricky accepted the Lord Jesus, was filled with the power of Holy Ghost and was totally and instantly healed from all sickness and injuries after praying a simple prayer of faith! Since his miraculous release from prison in 1981 Ricky has ministered all over the world - reaching the unreached. Every year that he ministered, tens of thousands come to Christ through jungle miracle crusades, youth crusades, medical outreaches, fresh water well projects, youth ministry and various other ministries. We have seen many Muslims receive Jesus as their Lord. Multitudes have been healed from every kind of sickness known to mankind through the faith of this man of God; cancers have disappeared, blind eyes have been open, tumors vanish, AIDS cured and the dead have been raised to life. He ministered using his gifting of miracles, signs and wonders, word of knowledge and prophetic anointing. He was truly an Apostle to the nations. He was ordained with Christ for the Nations Bible College in Dallas, Texas (www.CFNI.org) and was an affiliate with CFNI to reach souls for Christ around the world. All the glory goes to Jesus! In 2018, God received Ricky into heaven. Though he left the earth unexpectedly, there is no defeat in death. As a Christian, the final victory is when all the dead are raised to life in the last days! Ricky will be among them all. It will just be a short period of time before we get to be with him again! 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 Listen, I’m telling you a secret: All of us won’t die, but we will all be changed— in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the final trumpet. The trumpet will blast, and the dead will be raised with bodies that won’t decay, and we will be changed. It’s necessary for this rotting body to be clothed with what can’t decay, and for the body that is dying to be clothed in what can’t die. And when the rotting body has been clothed in what can’t decay, and the dying body has been clothed in what can’t die, then this statement in scripture will happen: “Death has been swallowed up by a victory. Where is your victory, Death? Where is your sting, Death?” His incredible testimony has impacted countless people.
