The 37 miracles of Jesus which were written down in the New Testament serve a specific purpose; none were performed randomly, for amusement, or for show. Each was accompanied by a message and either met a serious human need or confirmed Christ's identity and authority as the Son of God.

John 16:33 "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
The kind of tribulations that Jesus was talking about is pressure, the kind of pressure that makes you feel hemmed in, confined, and without options. It's like everything that can go wrong is going wrong, or like you're running into a wall every direction you turn. When we find ourselves in the midst of this kind of pressure, Jesus said "be of good cheer." And in Philippians 4:6 we are told "don't worry about anything." How can we do that?
Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore…”
When you’re discouraged, when the situation looks bleak, when you feel you’ve done everything you know to do and nothing seems to be improving, the bible tells us to “stand therefore.” In other words, what you should do when you just don’t know what to do is STAND.
Put Your Words to Work: How to Frame and Build your Future
“By faith we understand that the universe has been created by a word from God so that the visible came into existence from the invisible.” Hebrews 11:3 CEB
The hand of the Lord is something that the church needs to witness in this day and age.
When you see “The hand of the Lord”: 1) It speaks of God’s power expressed in judgement. 2) It speaks of God’s power expressed in blessing. There will be judgement on somebody and blessing on the other. The church should be expecting God’s Hand to avenge them of their adversary: Satan.
Moses was dead. The Lord commanded for Joshua to arise and start speaking the Word.
Joshua 1:1-9 Joshua was instructed to implement non-stop speaking (declaring) of truth as he prepared to possess what God had already given through promise.
“When you look at your ideal future and you think “How in the world can this ever happen?” then you’ve
got the right dream. See, God wants the credit. He wants your total dependency on him.” -Terri Savelle Foy |
